Family First
While at Fox 7 WTVW a new initiative was created to do stories that mattered to the family. In promoting the initiative, I wanted to create something that was eye catching and different. It took only one day to complete this project from concept to completion. The hardest part was trying to explain the idea to the talent. They did a great job but I'm pretty sure they thought I was crazy when explaining it to them.
This was a post heavy spot that was done entirely in After Effects. Every shot was flipped horizontally so that it wasn't spelled out backwards. Then I traced all of the hand movements and added the red stroke. I added the depth of field by doing some rough roto work of the hands and blurring the background. The end tag was created using Trapcode's 3D Stroke. The logo had already been created by an outside firm.
